Q: Why does Fridays at Sunset cost when there are other concert series in the City of Richmond that are FREE?
A: Fridays at Sunset is a privately sponsored event.
Q: How much is it to get in?
A: Tickets start at $20.00 for Fridays at Sunset performances. Prices are subject to change.
Q: Why should I buy a Season Passport?
A: A Season Passport allows the holder 13 weeks of quality entertainment at a discounted price. Season Pass holders also take advantage of a "no-waiting" special access line at the door especially for them. Please click on the "Tickets/Passes/VIP" link for pricing.
Q: Is there reserved seating?
A: No, patrons are advised and encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets on which to sit. Fridays at Sunset does not guarantee seating for any patrons.
Q: Is there a reduced rate for children?
A: Children 10 and under are allowed in free of charge when the event is held outdoors. Children through the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
Q: What time does the show start?
A: The opening band/performance begins at 6:30 p.m. The headline act begins between 8:00 - 8:30 p.m.
Q: Can I bring my own food and drinks (picnic baskets/coolers, etc) into the park?
A: No. Outside food or drinks are not allowed in the park. Sunset patrons can take advantage of the various food vendors and drinks sold inside the park. Food purchased inside the park may be taken outside, but must be consumed or thrown away PRIOR to re-entering the park.

Q: Is the park handicapped accessible?
A: Yes.
Q: Are pets allowed?
A: No.
Q: Can I pay for my ticket, food or drinks with a credit or debit card?
A: No. Within the park, cash is the only acceptable form of payment.
Q: Can I go directly to the bar to purchase drinks?
A: No you must first purchase drink tickets at the drink ticket table in order to purchase a drink.
Q: How do I get into the VIP tent?
A: Become a corporate sponsor! The VIP tent is an exclusive benefit of our corporate sponsors and their guests.
Q: How do I get to meet the artist?
A: At the artist's discretion, there is usually an autograph session directly following the performance, where patrons can purchase music and get their favorite artist to sign it. Fridays at Sunset, however, does not guarantee autograph sessions.
Q: Can I take pictures or video tape the performance.
A: Absolutely no video cameras, or flash photography are allowed in the park. Performances may be interrupted and the offending patron(s) asked to leave if video cameras or cameras are being used.
